Ahem since no one wants to post i shall post. Lawl my own blog's dead too, but who cares! it's the holidays now and we have nothign to do but to blogblogblog :D And really i am totally off msn. Woot i feel quite free and highhh haha the 3 week hiatus for my cts wasnt as difficult as i thought it would be, and it's really changed me quite abit hmm. So let's all help out for JIC this saturday and hopefully we get 100 bucks to spend again (: I remember i ate so much i didnt feel like eating anymore.

Oh and i've gotten the new com! Haha this one's black. And the words look funny on the screen. But i guess it's much faster :D 1gb ram yay! And my brother helped me install another fan inside (: His cpu has 5 fans ah -.-" and this one only had one at the start. Lawl i have no idea how to do such things. Ahhh being the cert tray holder yesterday was quite fun, except that they were way too heavy. My hands were shakinggg and i got two paper cuts la. Lawl but it really was quite a fun experience. But i want to be emcee! Lawl dream on.

Movie tomorrow! Though im not going. Eh people we need to organise some mass outing again. Ahhh so different from the old days but han's coming back soon! Oh and attention! Fabio is MISSING. Yes missing and i know everyone suspects kenneth lim aka Mr Cockroach haha but no it isnt him! (everyone suggests that it's him haha) If anyone has any news of it please tell me! Haha this is quite retarded, but i bet a nasty little small person took it. =x aha enough of that. oooooh interesting there is this new thing on my com. hmm two new things and the desktop looks way too blank. Hey all!

Okay so this is my first time to the SSC's new elite blog :D
Anyway,
the exams are here! for all of us perhaps. Sigh, it's boo-hoo isn't it?
But take comfort in knowing that I started my paper on 25Sept and it hasn't ended. So yeah, 3-cheers for me.

And there's open water swim tomorrow! I've checked out the place this afternoon. It seems pretty cool with all the milo banners and stuff!
Rahhh, I'm ~~kind of~~ afraid of swimming in the sea with all the waves curving up and down:/
but it's worth a try! :D

Ah and good lucks to all taking their exams!
Just think of it as a way to skip training sessions :D
I'll see ya'll back in the pool once my exams are over!

haha i find it really amusing :D though it's still stuck on the door cause no one's bothered to take it away -.-" and since it's been two weeks, i'll get to see the skeleton soon! yucks and the bloodstains are the black marks on the door up there and i see it every day yay.

Anywayy transitional period is tough! but honestly i dont see any difference really ): cause i go like all of 3/4 times a week. LAWL i really try okay. yest my mother didnt wake me up for training and i was so pissed. ah well. And who's going kunming! More people go okay then pay less $$ :D no la haha i need to have someone to room with! ahhh.

exams are almost over! like in uh 3 weeks. so stay cool we have just one month more!

Happy birthday mayumi! albeit one day late lawl. But nevermind today i realised how many young kids there were helping out for midget. All those little kids from intermediate, i thought they would still be competing in midget or too young to help out. But i guess im just old. Haha like the rest of us. Only ems, nat and cheryl. Lawl what happened to us? So funny. Maybe to them we're now just the past. The old and retired swimmers. Lawl funny.

i got peer pressured by zi yao (TEAM CAPTAIN!) to blog. so here i am. haha. after all, we must always do what our captains tell us to do (as dan and tze yang so wonderfully demonstrated by eating chocolate until they KO-ed). jk. aiyah im rambling cos i'm sleepy. i lifeguarded today and made $ :). my 1st lifeguarding job! but i have to admit it's a lot more boring than i thought it would be. you just stand feeling all hot and sweaty and watch all the swimmers until you think your eyeballs are going to fall off. and you want to jump into the pool to cool down. at least i didn't have to rescue any of the tiny kids who couldn't swim very well. haha. and then i had to rush back for tennis. it was so-so today lah. we had to do suicides. but we didn't have to do them quickly so it wasn't bad. ok must go for trg tmw morning. WOO HOO. man i need a rolling eyes smiley. like ^^ or something.

anyways. there was the meeting today.
so we talked abt what WAS the elite aquad and what does the word elite mean. and elite in singapore swimming. i am too lazy to type everything out. lolx
then we talked abt problems and grievances abt the program, training, blah blah blah. and then we went on to squad structure options.
hahah. hopefully. HOPEFULLY there will be a change. wonder when the next meeting will be.
hah. anyways....... are we going out during the hols? watching movie or going ice skating or going jurong east complex..? ahhaha.

anyways... i dunno what to say alr lahs..
feeling extremely lazy. feel like slacking. teehee

Hi everyone. This shall be my second post on the SSC blog. Let me think what has happened druing my stay on Earth.
Erm... Oh yeah. I became an exclusive-member-only-by-invitation in AHRS (pronounced ARSE). If you wanna know wad it stands for, just ask me or my voice.
I also gave my voice lessons on chemistry .
Today I found a brown chocolate bar in the vending machine. After deciphering the letters on it, I found out it was "Snickers bar". I nearly bought it, but decided that I had to go on a diet.
Erm... yeah. I think that's all I can remember about my own life this week. Bye people.

Hi earthlings of planet Earth! I'm Kang from Hump Land, speaking with the voice of Zi Yang.
Let me explain. I had been previoiusly asked by many ppl, including my voice to blog on this blog. But I was playing a game you see, and therefore could not blog. But my voice came along and kept nudging me via MSN, making my com lag, making me lose the game. So I decided to allow him to blog for me.
Let me now start. Erm... Nothign much to blog about. Excpet that I decided not to sue my voice for outrage of modesty anymore, for the simple reason that he lent me his voice. I have also decided to allow him to ride on my hump while I am warming down after training.

Everyone must come training more! I see so few people around nowadays. And we must all train harder than the little kiddies yes. We don't want to lose to them right. I feel very demoralised and not feel like swimming everytime they come my lane. But instead of doing that, sometimes i get angry and just keep screaming in my head. Like this! "Bloody little shit. Think you're so good! RAWWWR eat my BUBBLES SHITHEADS!" Yeah and it works! Everytime you're getting whacked by those little butts go scream at them and lap them a few times.

It really works. We are older, we are faster, we shouldn't lose to them! And another way i use to motivate myself sometimes is by ranting at my coach. "Effing -beep- Think you're so good. Fine i don't need your help. Let's see if I can't do that, shithead." Since some people are always bei4 kan4 xiao3. Then do that! Though it may probably affect your feelings towards your coach (lawl) but it's a nice way to swim faster.

So work hard whatever. It's painful but after a week, it'll be so easy! That's why i hate going back to training after a long rest. Lawl.

I hate the little kids coming my lane, but if that's the way our coach wants it, then we just have to kick their asses. Swim faster!

AND LET'S GO OUT DURING THE SEPT HOLIDAYS. NO MUGGING YOU MUGGERS.HOLIDAYS.

Attitude Is Everything

Jerry was the kind of guy you love to hate. He was always in a good mood and always had something positive to say. When someone would ask him how he was doing, he would reply, "If I were any better, I would be twins!"

He was a unique manager because he had several waiters who had followed him around from restaurant to restaurant. The reason the waiters followed Jerry was because of his attitude. He was a natural motivator. If an employee was having a bad day, Jerry was there telling the employee how to look on the positive side of the situation. Seeing this style really made me curious, so one day I went up to Jerry and asked him, "I don't get it! You can't be a positive person all of the time. How do you do it?" Jerry replied, "Each morning I wake up and say to myself, Jerry, you have two choices today. You can choose to be in a good mood or you can choose to be in a bad mood.' I choose to be in a good mood. Each time something bad happens, I can choose to be a victim or I can choose to learn from it. I choose to learn from it. Every time someone comes to me complaining, I can choose to accept their complaining or I can point out the positive side of life. I choose the positive side of life."

"Yeah, right, it's not that easy," I protested. "Yes it is," Jerry said. "Life is all about choices. When you cut away all the junk, every situation is a choice. You choose how you react to situations. You choose how people will affect your mood. You choose to be in a good mood or bad mood. The bottom line: It's your choice how you live life." I reflected on what Jerry said.

Soon thereafter, I left the restaurant industry to start my own business. We lost touch, but often thought about him when I made a choice about life instead of reacting to it. Several years later, I heard that Jerry did something you are never supposed to do in a restaurant business: he left the back door open one morning and was held up at gunpoint by three armed robbers. While trying to open the safe, his hand, shaking from nervousness, slipped off the combination. The robbers panicked and shot him. Luckily, Jerry was found relatively quickly and rushed to the local trauma center. After 18 hours of surgery and weeks of intensive care, Jerry was released from the hospital with fragments of the bullets still in his body.

I saw Jerry about six months after the accident. When I asked him how he was, he replied, "If I were any better, I'd be twins. Wanna see my scars?" I declined to see his wounds, but did ask him what had gone through his mind as the robbery took place. "The first thing that went through my mind was that I should have locked the back door," Jerry replied. "Then, as I lay on the floor, I remembered that I had two choices: I could choose to live, or I could choose to die. I chose to live. "Weren't you scared? Did you lose consciousness?" I asked. Jerry continued, "The paramedics were great. They kept telling me I was going to be fine. But when they wheeled me into the emergency room and I saw the expressions on the faces of the doctors and nurses, I got really scared. In their eyes, I read, 'He's a dead man. " I knew I needed to take action." "The Nurse asked if I was allergic to anything. 'Yes,' I replied. The doctors and nurses stopped working as they waited for my reply... I took a deep breath and yelled, 'Bullets!' Over their laughter, I told them, 'I am choosing to live. Operate on me as if I am alive, not dead." Jerry lived thanks to the skill of his doctors, but also because of his amazing attitude. I learned from him that every day we have the choice to live fully. Attitude, after all, is everything.
